Visions Park is not a standard apartment complex that happens to be accessible. It is the only community in Nevada built from the ground up — architecture, layout, lighting, flooring, services, and location — specifically around the needs and independence of people who are blind or have low vision.
You will live next door to the Blind Center of Nevada campus, with direct access to the services, programs, and community that support your independence every single day.
Every unit and common area features lighting systems designed to assist residents with varying degrees of visual impairment — not afterthoughts, but built into the architecture itself.
Walkways and flooring throughout the building are designed to produce distinct sounds and tactile cues that help you navigate independently — a feature unique to Visions Park.
Every unit meets or exceeds ADA standards. Wide doorways, accessible fixtures, roll-in showers, and reachable controls throughout — designed around real independence, not minimum compliance.
Visions Park is located directly adjacent to the Blind Center of Nevada at 950 Visions Park Lane — giving you immediate access to job training, orientation, mobility services, and community programs.
As a Visions Park resident, you have access to optional support services offered through the Blind Center of Nevada — at no additional cost. These are designed to help you live fully and independently.
You will be taken to accessiblespace.org, the official application portal.
Nevada's first housing community designed around the blind and visually impaired
Visions Park Apartments is a 100-unit affordable, accessible apartment community developed by the Blind Center of Nevada in collaboration with the Southern Nevada Regional Housing Authority (SNRHA). The $30 million project represents a partnership between the cities of Las Vegas, Henderson, and North Las Vegas, Clark County, and the State of Nevada.
Every decision — from the location next to the Blind Center campus, to the specialized architecture, to the optional on-site support services — was made with one goal: giving you a true home where you can live with independence, dignity, and community.
“We’ll have special kinds of lighting for those who are visually impaired, walkways and flooring that will make different kinds of noises — this is designed around your life.”Todd Imholte, President — Blind Center of Nevada
Everything in your home works for you
From your in-unit washer and dryer to the specially designed common areas, every feature at Visions Park was chosen to support your daily independence.
Every unit includes a full-size washer and dryer. No shared laundry rooms, no trips outside — complete convenience at home.
Flooring throughout the building produces distinct tactile and auditory cues to help you navigate independently — a feature found nowhere else in Nevada.
Lighting throughout units and common areas is calibrated for residents with varying degrees of visual impairment, from low vision to full blindness.
Wide doorways, roll-in showers, accessible hardware, and reachable controls throughout every unit and common space.
A shared space for resident gatherings, support services, and Blind Center programming — your community hub on-site.
Dedicated accessible parking for residents and visitors, with ADA-compliant spaces and safe pedestrian access throughout.
