If you are blind or visually impaired, this community was built with you in mind

Visions Park is not a standard apartment complex that happens to be accessible. It is the only community in Nevada built from the ground up — architecture, layout, lighting, flooring, services, and location — specifically around the needs and independence of people who are blind or have low vision.

You will live next door to the Blind Center of Nevada campus, with direct access to the services, programs, and community that support your independence every single day.

Specialized Lighting Throughout

Every unit and common area features lighting systems designed to assist residents with varying degrees of visual impairment — not afterthoughts, but built into the architecture itself.

Tactile Walkways & Audio Flooring

Walkways and flooring throughout the building are designed to produce distinct sounds and tactile cues that help you navigate independently — a feature unique to Visions Park.

Fully ADA Accessible

Every unit meets or exceeds ADA standards. Wide doorways, accessible fixtures, roll-in showers, and reachable controls throughout — designed around real independence, not minimum compliance.

On the Blind Center Campus

Visions Park is located directly adjacent to the Blind Center of Nevada at 950 Visions Park Lane — giving you immediate access to job training, orientation, mobility services, and community programs.

Optional Supportive Services Available to Residents

As a Visions Park resident, you have access to optional support services offered through the Blind Center of Nevada — at no additional cost. These are designed to help you live fully and independently.

Orientation & mobility training to navigate your home and neighborhood
Daily living skills instruction and independent living support
Assistive technology training including screen readers and devices
Vocational rehabilitation and job training through the Blind Center
Low vision resources and adaptive equipment access
Peer community and social connection with others who share your experience
24-hour supportive living options through Accessible Space Inc.

Nevada's first housing community designed around the blind and visually impaired

Visions Park Apartments is a 100-unit affordable, accessible apartment community developed by the Blind Center of Nevada in collaboration with the Southern Nevada Regional Housing Authority (SNRHA). The $30 million project represents a partnership between the cities of Las Vegas, Henderson, and North Las Vegas, Clark County, and the State of Nevada.

Every decision — from the location next to the Blind Center campus, to the specialized architecture, to the optional on-site support services — was made with one goal: giving you a true home where you can live with independence, dignity, and community.
